易經與知識論--一位科技教育工作者之體會

摘要:
易有聖人之道四焉,以言者尚其辭,以動者尚其變,以致器者尚其象,以卜筮者,尚其占(繫辭上傳十章)。人類的知識可作不同的歸類。其中有依類是有關架構方面的知識,稱為形式知識,譬如數學、邏輯及語言皆屬之,形式知識可用以詮釋其他知識,作者於易經的研究中,發現易經可視為一種形式知識。作者從易經對陰陽之道,變通之理的觀點,探求玄想帶給易經的傷害,為易經指出一條推理之道,並從科技教育的教學環境中,體會出易經的一些實際貢獻,並配以許多實例說明之。

The Epistemological Aspect of the I-Ching

Abstract:
The knowledge of framework called formal knowledge, such as mathematics, logic, and language, can be used to interpret other branches of knowledge. After studying the I-ching, the author finds that the I-ching can be regarded as a kind of formal knowledge.
The rules of the yin and the yang and the patterns of changes manifest the I-ching's con-cepts under the influence of the mataphysics, thus forming its way of reasoning. The author al-so makes a point of the practical contributions of the I-ching to the instruction of technology, and explains them with examples.
